About Dr. Miller
Born in Fort Worth, Texas, Dr. Howard Miller, MD, is an infectious diseases physician and has been in private practice in La Jolla, California since 1979. Dr. Miller earned his MS Degree in Pharmacology from George Washington University in Washington DC and his MD from Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orleans, LA. He completed his medicine internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans. He also completed his Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Ochsner.
Dr. Miller is a physician member of XIMED Medical Group, Inc., an independent practice network of over 350 physicians who provide highly personalized care in small to mid-size practice settings. He is a Physician Consultant, Hospital Epidemiology and Chairman of the Infection Control Committee at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla. He is also a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) and the Infectious Disease Association of California (IDAC).
